Eliminate HVAC anxiety— Airlast has you covered

Full-service commercial HVAC coverage for Landlords and Tenants

When an HVAC unit fails, whose responsibility is it?

Landlords & Property Owners

Due to expensive costs, landlords traditionally place liability on the tenant for HVAC repair and replacement. This causes great disputes during lease negotiations, or liability is overlooked by the tenant, resulting in arguments, lawsuits, and volatility.

Tenant

Tenants often feel swindled. Many tenants don’t realize their responsibility in HVAC matters until it’s too late. If they’re the unlucky lessee when a unit fails, it spells disaster – with up to 15-month wait times and lost business.

HVAC Technicians

HVAC specialists make the bulk of their money on replacing units, and are incentivized to do so when possible. High margins on equipment means that they can leverage demand to their benefit — and to the detriment of customers.

A better way: Never worry about HVAC again with Airlast!

The Airlast Story

Identifying the problem in the industry.

Charlie Banks was a commercial real estate broker who was tired of negotiating with tenants when HVAC units would fail. Since HVACs are notoriously expensive, Charlie was surprised to discover that commercial HVAC insurance did not exist.

Creating a solution

The Airlast idea was born in early 2023 and officially launched in August 2023: a full-service product that would provide end-of-life protection for HVAC, and eliminate all liability for landlords and tenants.
